Parkhotel Horst is in a unique place where a large castle used to be. It lies on the edge of a forest with a lake and a fine sandy beach. We were here during winter and had a lovely experience hiking around the lake. Along the way, you come across surprising sculptures. Culinary-wise, the hotel has a lot to offer and the room was spot-on. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful as well. The dinner-dance on Boxing Day was a big success, an excellent dinner and a regarding the music a very enjoyable dance evening in a fine ambiance, definitely worth a re-visit!
