Our lobsters are prepared thermidor, meaning they are cooked in a broth of water, wine, vinegar and various vegetables. The lobster is then garnished with a delicious sauce. Do you prefer a different method of preparation? In consultation with our kitchen, it is also possible to prepare the lobster the way you prefer!
You can choose to order a whole or half a lobster:
Half a lobster: €27,50
Whole lobster: €39,50
Would you like to make a reservation? If so, please do so at least one day in advance before 20:00 so that we have time to order the lobsters. Reservations can easily be made via the button below or call our colleagues at 077-397600.
Did you know…
…You can tell the age of a lobster by looking at its ‘annual rings’. Lobsters, like trees, have annual rings. Lobsters show ‘annual rings’ on stems of the eyes and on parts of the stomach. Lobsters can get very old; there are lobsters that have lived to be over 100 years old.
…Lobsters’ limbs can grow back. This is useful because lobsters like to live in solitude. When they come across another lobster, it often leads to a fight, in which lobsters sometimes lose a pair of scissors or a feeler. However, this is not a problem as these simply grow back.
…In the past, lobster was not considered a luxury delicacy. In the 17th century, prison inmates were given lobster as a dish up to three times a week. It was then seen as a punishment to eat lobster. At the same time, lobster was given as a food to pigs.
